Fantastic day out. So much to see , for all ages . Beutiful rolling grounds to explore and the house is wonderful. There is information around the house and guides on hand should you need them . The little petting farm is also worth a visit.

Sad to give Tatton Park only 3 stars but this place could be so much better. The council owned park gives you the impression of it being fed just enough money to keep going, but no improvements cash. The park is well used by thousands of visitors, visiting the many shows and events through out the year, so earning plenty of money. You go to other parts of the country and see how they invest in, go ape area's, mountain bike tracks, camping sites with facilities etc the list goes on. Come on Tatton don't rest on your laurels, invest in the future.

Gorgeous building with luscious green grounds. Beautiful venue for a wedding. They hold various events there including outdoor cinema nights. There are a few shops and a cafe that sell food and gorgeous ice cream There is also a carousel and part of a steam engine there in a courtyard near the shops. Definitely recommend a visit in the summer.

We had a brilliant day Everything was well laid out and where exhibits weren't accessible there was a video showing what I could have seen so I didn't feel left out. This was particularly good in the mill. Our only gripe was that the lady on the till wasn't very friendly but it was windy and cold so I can't really blame her. Shame more people didn't go into the slaughterhouse. This exhibit is done exceptionally well and important to see the process.

Great place to spend the day with family. Beautiful parkland which is free to access by foot. Cars pay 6 entrance fee. There are hundreds of deer roaming the park, which is a lovely sight, and there is a large outdoor playground for children of all ages.If you want to spend a full day there with children, the cafe does good hot meals as well as sandwiches, children's lunch box meals, got drinks and cakes. If the weather is kind you can sit outside in the courtyard, where there are some small children's rides and a spectacular carousel. There is a farm within the park which welcomes visitors, although there is an extra cost. This is a good option for younger children. The spectacular gardens and historic manor house are worth a visit. Again these come at an extra cost, unless you have National Trust membership, in which case it's free. The gardens are particularly visit-worthy: there's a tropical house, a large fruit and vegetable section, a maze, some nice topiary and a beautiful Japanese garden. Lastly, there is the old hall, which visitors can pay to access. Lastly, look out for special events hosted at the park e.g. Tatton Flower Show, charity fun runs, classic car rallies and concerts as there could affect your visit.
