Ignore the review by the very rude Angelo Achilles. I have stayed here twice and on both occasions, it has been absolutely wonderful. This is in a rural setting but it is easily accessible. No tractor or 4x4 required. The rooms are decorated to a very high standard. Only good quality bedding, towels etc used and the place is very clean. Rachel cannot do enough for you. My partner accidentally dropped his work shirt in the mud carrying it in and Rachel had it washed and dried within hours. Nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is delicious- all home made conserves, fresh, good quality sausages and strong coffee! This is a good place to roam from too- either to the quaint pubs in Lower Peover or the bustling town of Knutsford. You will be well looked after and I would not hesitate to recommend this place having stayed twice in the last 2 years.
Disgusted with this hotel first of all state of the road up in entering the hotel you need a tractor to get over the potential holes and dirt and brick that damaged my car then u need to be wearing wellies from the car park. To be greeted by the owner Rachel who we found extremely rude and obnoxious . And as for the rooms the decor was lovely if you are 80+ and the quilt we were given for are 1 year old daughter was dirty and coverd in dog hairs' the breakfast the eggs were good but the rest had been cooked hours ago and was extremely dry. So if you have a tractor it is not a bad 2 star would only recommend it to my enemy.
Clean, quiet, comfortable. A bit remote from any good pubs but apart from that, excellent.
