I snapped a gear cable mid ride and decided to limp home via Knutsford. Tough because I was stuck in the 11 on the cassette. Then I remembered there was a bike shop in Knutsford. I was hoping maybe they could get into an easier gear so I could at least get homeWithin a minute of arriving Paul had my bike in the stand and pointed me in the direction of a coffee shop whilst he replaced the gear cable. Ive worked in a bike shop so I know service can be a bit hit and miss in some places but I can honestly say I couldnt have had better treatment if Id been Sir Brad himself. Bikes N Gear will have the dubious honour of looking after my bikes from now on. Top, top service. Thank you Paul .

Purchased a Wilier Cento 10 Air frameset and mislaid the brake bridge for the rear seat stay direct mount brake. Paul sourced a new one from Wilier, contacted me without me have to chase, posted it 1st class - no charge! Service and communication does not get better 5*Stuart Hodgson
Excellent service from Paul!! A friend had used him before and suggested for me to go to his shop as i was in the market for a new bike. Purchased a Scott Foil 10 di2, first contact was via email and Paul was really helpful and was up for a deal, so i happily paid my deposit after we agreed a price. Went to collect the bike, Paul put my own purchased wheel set on with no hesitation, the fitting was excellent and much more detailed than the likes of Evans Cycles and other big companies. Took the bike home and out for a quick ride, found a slight issue with the rear brake, Paul came out to my home the very same night to tweek it for me as i live 30 miles away. Service like that is hard to find. Personable, very professional and knowledgeable. I am over the moon with the whole process and will happily make the 60 mile round trip for a service and to purchase my next bike!! If you dont mind travelling i highly recommend Paul and Bikes N Gear, it is well worth it for the extra service you get!
